Anne-Claire Pétré

My pursuit of design excellence led me across continents, from design schools in France to the College of Arts in Scotland, culminating in an esteemed design-making associateship at the acclaimed Jamfactory in Adelaide.

Each step of my journey enriched my discernment of superior craftsmanship, premium materials, and refined processes.

In Melbourne's vibrant scene, I expanded my expertise through engagements with renowned furniture brands and esteemed architecture and interior design studios.

My affinity for furniture design ignited at the outset of my career and has since remained a driving force. After more than a decade dedicated to the furniture industry, I eventually reached a pivotal moment where I sought the autonomy to design my own creations and cultivate a product line reflective of my values.

I aspired to establish a brand committed to exceptional design, environmental responsibility, and local production. My vision became a reality in 2012 with the inception of anaca studio, followed by the establishment of acp atelier (a collaboration with Stylecraft Furniture) in 2019.

While my journey has been closely intertwined with these brands, my design pursuits extend beyond their confines. I continue to collaborate with architects and designers on commissioned projects and bespoke designs, exploring new realms of creativity and innovation.
